Hull boss Phil Brown may go shopping in Colchester again after he was linked with a move for Karl Duguid.
Brown went to Colchester in the Summer to seal the signings of Wayne Brown and Richard Garcia, both of whom have played pivotal roles in the first-half of the season. Brown has formed a solid partnership alongside Michael Turner whilst Garcia has proved himself to be a useful addition to the side on the right wing.
Duguid is the current Colchester captain of the side that sits at the foot of the Championship table having impressed everyone with a first season that saw them finish in the top half. The 29 year old has played at right-back this season but his natural position is in the midfield.
Brown is believed to have been tracking Duguid for some time, having been interested this summer. The signings of Brown and Garcia may also play an influential factor if any move for Duguid materialises, and personal terms are negotiated.

Where does he play?I cant see it happening because Brown said on radio.Think we need someone on the left wing and maybe another striker.
On yesterday’s performance don’t bother guys!
not overly keen.
I don’t know enough about him, but the other Colchester lads have been very good. Perhaps we should trust Mr Brown.
Not needed, left sided players only please.
You can have him unless he bucks his ideas up.
We’ll take him for free!!!!
