Evans earns Northern Ireland call-up

City midfielder Corry Evans has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad that faces Serbia and Slovenia in upcoming Euro 2012 fixtures.

The City midfielder is currently on loan from Manchester United, and has impressed since arriving at the KC Stadium to an extent that City have attempted to make the move permanent.

Evans will hope to feature against Serbia on March 25th and Slovenia on March 29th, with the latter encounter seeing Evans face the possibility of lining up against team-mate Robert Koren in the Slovenian midfield.
