Hull City will focus on the FA Cup this afternoon as the league temporarily takes second place, with League 2 promotion chasers Crawley Town travelling to the KC Stadium.

Both teams progressed into round 4 with wins over Championship opposition, City knocking Ipswich Town out after a 3-1 win while Crawley upset Bristol City 1-0.

Crawley, who will be backed by a strong away support have described the fixture as the second biggest in their history, behind last season`s FA Cup 5th round tie at Manchester United. Crawley will fancy their chances to create another upset against a City side that could see several changes, although Nick Barmby will also realise the potential of progressing into the last sixteen.

Nick Barmby could give starts to Tom Cairney, Liam Cooper and Richard Garcia as he looks to reshuffle his team; Seyi Olofinjana and Jay Simpson also likely to be involved on the bench. Last week`s debutant Josh King could also be handed a start as he looks for a first home appearance after his loan from Manchester United.

Crawley will welcome back Claude Davis while new loanee Sanchez Watt will go straight into the match-day squad after his move from Arsenal.

The game is the first meeting of the two sides and is the tie with the widest league places separating the two sides, 45 positions separating Crawley from Hull.

Vital Hull Prediction: City 2 – 0 Crawley Town
