Fraizer Campbell`s future remains uncertain, with the fans unsure whether City can capture the multi million pound rated youngster.

Campbell proved to be an inspirational loan signing, scoring the goals that helped propel City into promotion contention. The Man United striker formed a blossoming partnership with Dean Windass, and that is something the fans want to see continue next season.

It remains to be seen whether Fraizer Campbell will be in Sir Alex Ferguson`s plans at Old Trafford, or if City will stump up the reported £4 million it would take to attain his signature on a permanent basis. However, with City having acquired £60 million following promotion to the Premier League, a move could be forthcoming should the striker have no future in Manchester and be willing to negotiate a move to East Yorkshire.

An option that may be suitable to both teams is to allow the youngster to continue his loan spell with the club, allowing Campbell the chance to prove himself at England`s top level whilst still being retained by Manchester United should he have proved himself by the end of next season.

In our latest poll, which asked you whether Fraizer Campbell will stay at Hull City, voters predicted that we`ll sign him on loan again, just ahead of the 42% who believe we will sign him permanently. Only 10% feel the striker will be at Manchester United next season with the European Champions more than likely to buy a European star than promote youth.

Can’t see Sir Alex letting him go without seeing him develop for another season. I hope he will be happy to finish what he has started with us, as he looks to be enjoying his football and learning from the likes of Windass, Okatcha and Barmby. Another season on loan, then back to Utd or sold to a premiership side is my take on things.

I agree with the comment made. I think we’ll see another season from him on a loan signing as this will add to his value too. I think if we make a good go of it this coming season then he may join us on a permanent deal but lets not forget he hasn’t really been on top form for the last couple of games and who knows how he will fair in the Prem. It’s in Campbell’s interest to play first team games to impress Sir Alex so i’d want to stay on loan with City if i was him to get the best chance of a United first team appearance. Also…there is the added point of United wanting to buy another striker this summer… Campbell would have to outclass Rooney, Park, Saha etc to get a look in the first team…

Can’t say I agree wit your title, Matt. I’d say fans are very confident that Fraizer will stay, the only question is, is it on loan or permanent. 91% have voted that he will be here next season!

Maybe worth trying to get him on a season long loan from United. I think he’s got the pace to scare a few in the Premiership.
