Guzan leaves while Amoo joins City

Hull City have lost and signed a loanee on a busy day of transfer dealings.

As was expected, Brad Guzan has returned to Aston Villa following his two month loan spell with The Tigers.

Nigel Pearson will now be left with the on-loan Vito Mannone and Matt Duke to battle for the number one shirt, with youngster Mark Oxley providing cover when required.

Having freed up a loan space, Pearson has moved quickly to sign Liverpool winger David Amoo in time to face Nottingham Forest.

The loan is expected to receive football league clearance later today, with Amoo expected to go straight into City`s eighteen man squad on Saturday.
