Joseph Return

Marc Joseph has spent the last two months on loan at Ashton Gate but was hampered by injuries.

Now the loan has run out, manager Gary Johnson has decided not to follow up his interest in the player and has decided not to make the move permanent.

With that being the case, Marc Joseph will return to the KC Stadium.

Joseph suffered a few injuries during his time with Bristol City and was unable to hold down a first team place.

Marc made three appearances for Bristol City before injury took its toll on the player, and was an unused substitute in their last five outings.

Gary Johnson said: ‘Marc was a bit unfortunate in that he picked up an injury that cost him his place.’

‘Since then the back-four have performed magnificently and he has found himself on the substitute’s bench.’

‘We had to take a decision and it was that we can do without making a signing in his position at the present time.’
