Hull City’s fans have turned out in force at the KC Stadium throughout the season.

As the season now draws to a close and the Tigers have played their last home game, City averaged a home crowd of just below 20,000.

The actual figure was 19,841 making the club the 32nd best supported.

The Tigers record attendance at home this season came against Yorkshire rivals Leeds United when a crowd of 23,486 watched Jon Parkin crush Leeds automatic promotion hopes.

The lowest crowd came against Aston Villa in the F.A Cup 3rd Round.

Despite the attraction of a ‘big name’ club to the KC Stadium, the crowd was kept down due to the game being televised as Aston Villa defeated the Tigers 1-0 with a deflected Gareth Barry goal.

Overall, the crowds have remained with the Tigers through a season which has seen the Tigers flirt with the relegation places on more than one occasion.

Hopefully next season we won’t have to endure the same and we can push on and attract more people to watch football at the KC Stadium!
