Hull City`s third game of “mad” March sees Ipswich Town visit the KC Stadium this afternoon.

The Tigers have already beaten today`s visitors twice this season, winning 1-0 in the league at Portman Road and 3-1 at the KC in the FA Cup 3rd round. Having drawn their opening two games of the month, Barmby knows his side needs a victory to keep in touch with the top six ahead of Tuesday`s important game at Cardiff.

Barmby hinted this week that Mark Cullen could be given a leading role this week after coming back into the team against Blackpool and Leeds. The young striker has failed to make an impression at the KC yet after a debut goal in the Premier League but with City struggling to find the net, Cullen could be the answer Barmby is searching for.

Robbie Brady, Seyi Olofinjana and Josh King will all hope to feature in this afternoon`s team, Irish winger Brady a possibility to start in place of Cameron Stewart after missing the last two fixtures.

Ipswich meanwhile are in good form after a 1-1 draw at Southampton. Former City midfielder Jimmy Bullard will not feature due to his suspension for off the field misdemeanours. IBrahima Sonko and Damien Delaney both spent time at the KC and should both be involved in Ipswich`s sixteen man squad. Michael Chopra is fit to play after taking a knock against Southampton.

Vital Hull Prediction: City 2 – 0 Ipswich
