Hull City manager Marco Silva has confirmed that he has now met with the club to discuss his future, but as of yet no decisions have been made.

With relegation back to the Championship confirmed following the four nil defeat by Crystal Palace last weekend, we go into the final game of the season now with only pride to play for.

Speaking to the BBC as he met with the media, Silva explained.

‘It’s my goal as a manager to work in the Premier League. It’s a big decision – in this moment I don’t have a decision and I need to analyse what is best for my career.’

The Portuguese gaffer also confirmed in the interview that he would meet with Hull’s owners next Wednesday to give them a final decision, but he has also of course been linked with the soon to be vacant Watford position with Walter Mazzarri outgoing at the end of the campaign.

‘We met this week and they showed they have an interest in keeping me and my staff at the club.’

As for Watford speculation, he denied he had received an offer from them or any other club.

‘Everyone knows when you have the chance to work in the Premier League, you don’t want to work in Championship, it’s normal. Of course the club want to keep me and now it is not just whether I want to stay or not – I need to analyse other things.’

With the managerial merry-go-round at Vicarage Road, if Silva wants to build something he’s better off staying at Hull to be honest.
