Still Nine Points

Luckily for City, we are not deep in trouble regarding a relegation battle. With a nine point cushion, City have effectively got three games in which they can’t get caught, meaning at the moment we could forget about the last three games of the season.

As most City fans are realising, March is make or break time. When you play Leicester, Crewe and Plymouth in a row, many City fans will be expecting nine points.

Leicester are under a resurgence at the moment and the away game may be tricky. Crewe has to be a win, as does Plymouth even though they have picked up form in recent weeks.

If we were able to win those games (minimum 2 out of 3) City could find themselves 12 or 13 points clear of the drop zone, and I think that would be all but enough for safety.

Hopefully a result at Ipswich and by the end of March we could all stop looking over our shoulders and the clubs below us.

Lets hope we have a fantastic March and we are still as optimistic now as we hope to be then. Remember a day is a long time in football, and if we aren’t careful over March whilst playing our nearest rivals we could easily get sucked back into trouble.
