The paper reports that 20,000 tickets have already been sold for saturday’s match against QPR, with the Upper West almost sold out. What few remaining tickets are available will be for the North Stand, ensuring a second succesive attendance of 23,000+. It is virtually guaranteed that the tickets for the final home game against Crystal Palace will be as hotly sought after.

Despite being live on Sky TV, we have also sold 2,800 tickets for the trip to Oakwell to face Barnsley, which is now all-ticket. With the away allocation at Sheffield United sold-out and the trip to Ipswich to conclude the season set to follow, we can be guaranteed a 12th man for our vital run-in.

It doesn’t stop there however, as the club have reported sales of 7,000 season tickets for the next campaign at a rate of 500 a day, including welcoming around 1,800 new ticket holders to the KC stadium. Whatever happens from here-on in, the recent run has been fantastic for the club and has really aroused interest and a buzz around the City of Hull, if not all of Yorkshire and has shown a mere glimpse of how significant Hull City AFC can become.

Great news, the 12th man made all the difference for Liverpool last night, and no reason why we can’t create enough atmosphere in the ground to bring us 3 points closer to the promised land.
