A Bournemouth run of eight without a win has seen them drop towards a relegation battle. West Ham’s visit to Dean Court – as the Hammers look to bounce back from a first defeat in three – will see the Cherries aim for a change of fortunes.
Everton would all but secure a minimum seventh place finish with a win – as the Toffees aim to react to a first defeat in 10 – over nearest rivals West Brom at Goodison Park. However, an Albion victory would close the gap to a point.
Having lost two in a three game winless run Hull are in desperate need of the points against relegation rivals Swansea. The Tigers are four points from safety with the Swans – after just three defeats in eight – having a five point cushion ahead of the game at the KCOM Stadium.
A much reduced schedule – due to the FA Cup quarter-final ties – will be concluded when Liverpool look to move five points clear of Arsenal in the final Champions League place. Burnley’s away for would dictate this should happen but the Clarets have already drawn at Old Trafford this season so aren’t going to fear this Anfield trip.
It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.
