The Premier League season continued with the latest round of matches played over the weekend.
Manchester City continue to lead the way ahead of Arsenal. Hull dropped into the bottom three with Swansea and Sunderland below them.

Nothing could separate Bournemouth and Tottenham to get the weekend underway with this probably seen as points dropped by Spurs, even as the home side the Cherries are probably happy with this point from a nil-nil draw.
Definitely point dropped is what you would say for Arsenal. The unbeaten run was extended but a nil-nil draw with Middlesbrough isn’t the (home) result of a genuine title contender is it? It took them top of the Premier League at close of play Saturday though.
Burnley’s form at Turf Moor could determine what happens to Sean Dyche’s side with a very important three-points collected against Everton with the Clarets winning two-one, which will of course be disappointing for the Toffees who are now slipping away after a bright start to the campaign under Ronald Koeman.
Hull are also ‘slipping away’ with the two-nil defeat at the KCOM Stadium against Stoke seeing them into the bottom three. A second successive win means the Potters have now climbed out of the relegation zone with Mark Hughes now aiming to ‘push on.’
Pushing on is also something Leicester will aim to do, inconsistent league form has been offset by a great Champions League run so far. A three-one win over Crystal Palace at the King Power Stadium could be the starting point whereas Palace have now lost two on the spin,
Two on the spin is what West Ham have managed, a win against Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace was followed up with a late winner against struggling Sunderland who look as though they’ll be in for a very long season.
Watford will be happy enough with an away point at Swansea with Liverpool likely to be delighted with the two-one win over West Brom in the Saturday night match meaning the Reds saw off a very tough match to move up to second.
The Arsenal slip didn’t prove costly in the end, although the Gunners will feel a further missed chance after Manchester City’s winless run went on with them held at the Etihad Stadium by Southampton, the Saints had been one-up in this one-one draw.
Jose Mourinho’s return to Chelsea wasn’t one to remember with Antonio Conte leading the Blues to a four-nil win over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
