Dean Windass will return to action for Hull City tonight when he features for the reserve side.

Windass returned from a loan spell at Oldham Athletic earlier in March after a frustrating time spent largely on the sidelines. The veteran only scored once for the League 1 side before Windass returned and close friend John Sheridan was forced to leave his post as the Latics manager.

Phil Brown is pleased with the return of Windass for whom he sees as a role model for the club`s youngsters. Windass will be joined in a youthful looking Hull reserves side to face Bolton tonight by Nathan Doyle, Bryan Hughes, Ryan France and John Welsh.

Nicky Featherstone, who has been linked with a move to the Australian A League should also feature. Kick off is at North Ferriby United`s Church Road ground at 7pm.
