Hull City take on Championship leaders Derby County at Pride Park on Saturday, and we asked you what you thought the result would be?

In a closely contested vote, forty-six of you voted saying Derby County would win whilst forty-two percent believe the Tigers will return triumphant. It’s interesting to note how the City fans are more confident of an away victory at the league leaders than they were last week at home to in-from West Bromwich Albion.

Billy Davies has rejuvenated Derby County after leaving his managerial post at Preston North End. A January of several million plus pound signings, including our very own Craig Fagan, has seen Derby push on from their early form and open up a six point gap over their nearest rivals, former team of Billy Davies, Preston North End.

Derby County won all their games in January and Davies has guided his team to six consecutive league victories. However, the fact that all these games have been won by a one goal margin must give the travelling Tigers fans and the ones sitting at home hope.

Their last four victories have come by a one – nil score-line whilst recently, the majority of their goals have been winners arriving in the final ten minutes of the game. It is evident hat concentration of every single player in a black and amber shirt must remain at its highest throughout the game or we risked being punished.

Nine percent of voter believed the game would end without either team troubling the score whilst three percent believe the game will end in a score draw.

Last weekend’s defeat to West Bromwich Albion plunged the Tigers back into the relegation zone after wins for Queens Park Rangers and Coventry extended the gap to safety. With the Tigers not playing a week on Saturday due to the postponed league game against Ipswich Town due to our opponents F.A Cup obligations, the Tigers need to add some points to their tally before the crunch six pointer with Yorkshire rivals Barnsley on Tuesday 20th January.
