The last four home games for the Tigers have seen three one nil victories against Plymouth Argyle, Crewe and Leeds United and most recently a 0-0 draw with Burnley.

Now, with Preston coming to the KC Stadium this Saturday, influential goalkeeper Boaz Myhill wants to make it five consecutive clean sheets at home.

The last time the Tigers achieved this was back in 1984 when Tony Norman represented the Tigers in goal.

Now, Boaz hopes to equal him. However, Boaz wanted to note it hasn’t just been his performances that have kept this run going.

Damien Delaney and Leon Cort have been tremendous at the back in recent games and their partnership has been the centre of many solid defensive displays.

Having played together for the past two seasons, they have built up a full understanding of each others play and this has helped Boaz concentrate on keeping the goals out of the Tigers net.

Boaz may meet his match on Saturday in the form of Preston’s Carlo Nash. He has equaled a club record of 23 clean sheets this season and if he can maintain his net in tact tomorrow, he will achieve a new club record.

Boaz has been in tremendous form all season and has become a fans favorite, making him one of the fore-runners for Hull City’s player of the season.

The Fans Forum on Wednesday revealed that no offers have come in for Boaz and that he will be going nowhere in the summer.

Lets hope he continues this form into next season and if he can, it will help propel the Tigers to a higher league finish.
