Wednesday night at City’s Fans Forum, details were revealed concerning old news.

Adam Pearson is currently trying to expand the KC Stadium but any possible development depends on Hull City being granted permission by the government to develop a super casino.

With that in mind, we asked you over the last few days; Should the KC Stadium expand?

We gave you three options to vote for and the results are in.

72% of City fans say that we should expand the KC Stadium straight away.

At the moment, City average crowds of just below 20,000 but you still said you would like to see the KC Stadium expanded up to a possible 35,000 capacity.

In my view, this wouldn’t actually be beneficial. The main games would attract larger crowds but for average teams (such as Burnley last week) the stadium wouldn’t get anywhere near 35,000 fans meaning the stadium would only be half-full. We don’t want to have a stadium like Darlington!!

Instead, I would like to wait to get to the Premiership (we will make it one day) before we expand to a 35,000 capacity.

28% of fans voted for this option and this is the one that makes most sense to me.

Adam Pearson said himself that expansion isn’t ‘life or death’ at the moment so we have the option to wait. We can see what the outcome of the casino decision is and take it from there.

Interestingly, no-one voted saying that we shouldn’t expand the stadium.

What do you make of these results? Talk about it on the forums.

We have a new poll running now. Following on from Vital Hull’s Player of the Season which was won by Boaz Myhill, we are now asking you to vote for what you thought was Goal of the Season.

I had to cut it down to six options so you might not agree but let us know what you think!
