This has been reported by the Express anyway with the report citing the Mirror as the source for these rumours.

Eldin Jakupovic was brought to Hull by Steve Bruce but after starting the season as Mike Phelan’s no.1 he’s now dropped to second choice behind David Marshall after he was signed from Cardiff. With Allan McGregor fit again the two Scots are set to battle it out to be the no.1 at the KCOM Stadium, which would push Jakupovic down to third choice you sense.

Links to Aston Villa, who have also been linked with Manchester United’s Sam Johnstone, are easy given the previous the Switzerland international has to Bruce, with this report saying a loan move to Villa Park would be ‘considered’ by Jakupovic in January.

The 32-year-old signed an extended contract with Hull in the summer and did start the season is the side with McGregor sidelined but soon lost out after Marshall’s £5m arrival from Championship side Cardiff so a temporary exit and return to that level with Villa could be a positive all-round.
