Hull City duo, John Welsh and Stephen McPhee are set to depart the K.C Stadium when the transfer window opens for buisness tomorrow.
Welsh is expected to sign on loan until the end of the season with League two side Chester City and Stephen McPhee is reported to be leaving the K.C on a permanent deal to Blackpool.
Both players have found themselves out of favour this season with Welsh still on the comeback trail from injury and Mcphee finding himself down the pecking order in the City list of strikers.
If these players do go then it will pave the way for Tigers boss Phil Brown to bring in some fresh faces as City look to press on with their dream of reaching the play offs.
A good move for Welsh and McPhee – wouldn’t be unhappy to see either move permanently really.
I agree a good move for both players.Hope it works out for both players.Hopful we can bring in some more quality players. Is Jay Jay injured?I wana know why he aint in the squad.
a real shame because both players have, did and would continue to give it their all for the club. best of luck to both of them.
Welsh move now confirmed on BBC website – hopefully give him the chance to get full fitness and return with more experience
Good servants to the club, good luck to them both.
looks like noone else going out till after the Plymouth match now
Where’s JayJay?
Time for a good clear out, we have a lot of dead wood still!
