Andy Dawson and Jay Simpson are the two major casualties of City`s promotion to the Premier League with both told they will not be offered new contracts with the club.

Additionally, Sonny Bradley, Lewis Clarkson, Mark Cullen, Jamie Devitt, Kealan Dillon, Daniel East, Daniel Emerton and Francis McCaffrey as well as Paul McKenna and Seyi Olofinjana.

With twelve set to leave the club, City have offered new contracts to Paul McShane, Liam Rosenior and Mark Oxley while Abdoulaye Faye has automatically been granted a one year contract extension.

Simpson, who will be released despite being an integral part of the promotion winning side, has failed to ultimately impress Steve Bruce due to a lack of goals (only scoring 1 in his last 31 outings.)

Dawson meanwhile will leave City as the club`s most decorated individual with four promotions to his name across a ten year stay in East Yorkshire. Today`s newspapers have linked the left-back with a move to Scunthorpe, the club he left to join Hull City on a free transfer in 2003.
