Mark McGuire, Chief Executive of Hull City has made an announcement regarding the future of Jimmy Bullard.

Announced yesterday and available to read in its entirety by clicking here.

McGuire has confirmed that the club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard. The news follows a five week suspension for the club record signing after an unknown misdemeanour during the club`s pre-season training camp in Slovenia.

Jimmy Bullard will have the right to appeal, but already two Premier League and two Championship sides rumoured to be interested in the player.

The Hull Daily Mail reports that the club do not expect to pay Bullard again, meaning the midfielder stands to lose out on a further £5 million if he stayed at the KC to the expiration of his contract in two years time.

A costly reminder of the Duffen and Brown regime, Bullard has made just 24 appearances for the club at a cost of £230,000 per game.
