Liam Cooper has quit his loan deal with Carlisle United and returned to Hull City.
The City centre-back was due to remain on loan with the League 1 side until the end of the season but returned to the KC after quitting having been left out of the side that were victorious in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy Final at Wembley on Sunday.
19 year old Cooper recently returned to Carlisle having returned to Hull to recover from a hand injury, but struggled to force his way back into the first-team after being sent off at Peterborough United, a fixture that Carlisle lost 6-0.
Cooper will not seek to force his way into Nigel Pearson`s plans as The Tigers continue to push for an unlikely top six position.
