Defensive (Outgoing) Interest!

Steve Bruce has been vocal in his thoughts he’s ‘worried’ about losing key members of his Hull squad before the transfer window closes next week, which would include Michael Dawson and Curtis Davies who are both being linked with moves away….

Dawson, signed from Spurs, could head back to the Premier League to Bournemouth with Davies reportedly a ‘first choice’ option for our Championship rivals QPR!

If Shoot.co.uk is right then Bournemouth are ready to activate, yes he’s another of those that’s believed to have one in his deal, a clause in Dawson’s contract that would leave Hull powerless to prevent an exit and that could see a ‘cut price’ deal go through?

The 31-year-old former England international’s defensive partner Davies, also called up by England in the past but never capped, is reportedly of interest to QPR according to the Mail, even though West Ham’s James Collins is ‘a potential signing’ Davies would be the one the R’s would prefer to sign.

I’m sure they would!

The sooner the transfer window closes the better, the speculation can at least stop for a few months….

However before it does hopefully Hull can bring a couple of players to cover areas in need of covering, i.e. a ‘keeper perhaps and definitely another striker!
