Paul Duffen spoke on Radio Humberside today to deny rumours linking PSG`s Fabrice Pancrate or Wigan`s Ryan Taylor with moves to the club.
Pancrate`s name surfaced this morning with the out of favour PSG striker, who has spent time on loan at Real Betis, a rumoured target for Phil Brown. Varying reports differed between Pancrate joining on a loan or permanent basis, but the City Chairman has been quick to quash any rumours.
Duffen also commented on two pieces of Wigan Athletic related transfer gossip, stating a deal for Marlon King was still on despite the player`s and club`s reported stand off over a compensation deal whilst the re-emergence of Ryan Taylor as a £700,000 target has been denied on the day the rumour resurfaced.

I agree, most of this is Press speculation, there’s lots going on behind the scenes only PB and BH will know about. Let’s just leave it to them, they’ve done OK so far.
