Manager Steve Bruce has a full compliment to choose from ahead of our second leg qualifying clash against FK AS Trencin tomorrow.

Having had another good week’s worth of training under their belts, nobody has picked up a knock or a niggle and we are in the perfect position to now build on the scoreless draw we gained in our first outing, and now put us through to the Play Off round.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, Bruce confirmed he hadn’t yet made the decision on whether he would change the starting line up from the first leg or not, but he was delighted that the squad was all fit and ready if they needed to be called on.

‘We’ll be working on things today. We had 20 outfield players training yesterday and I think they all understand that we have a long, tough season ahead if we qualify for the Europa League group stages. We’ve added to the squad over the summer to make it better and bigger. There’s no doubt there will be some disappointed faces tomorrow night because they all want to play in our first ever home game in European competition.’

There’s certainly competition for places and although we didn’t win the game at the last time of asking, few players will be overly concerned at losing their spot given their performances in the first proper run out of the campaign, so it’ll be interesting to see what selection he goes for.
