Proschwitz Given A Free

To say that Nick Proschwitz’s time with Hull wasn’t a ‘success’ would be an understatement wouldn’t it?

Money paid for the German striker wasn’t money well spent at all and basically does reaffirm Steven Bruce’s thoughts from earlier in the season that sometimes it is better to play more for a player(s) you know that is British, or based in Britain, than it is to pay too much for an overseas player you don’t know too much about….

The 27-year-old ended last season on loan with Barnsley and his exit on a permanent basis was on Friday confirmed with him allowed to join championship outfit Brentford.

Proschwitz, scorer of 7-goals in 37-appearances for the club, has joined Brentford on a one-year deal with them having the option of a second having snapped him up on a free transfer.
