Gossip: Portsmouth’s Brown linked with City

Hull City have been linked with out of favour Portsmouth midfielder Michael Brown.

The 34 year old has seen opportunities at Fratton Park Limited due to Portsmouth`s reluctance to play Brown, which would trigger a new playing contract on a deal the cash strapped club cannot afford.

As a result, Brown has not featured since January, watching from the sidelines as his side have struggled for form in the Championship.

Sky Sports News reports that City and Middlesbrough are tracking Brown, with both clubs poised to make a summer move.
