Joleon Lescott isn’t, apparently, short of options now that he’s a free agent having left Manchester City at the end of his contract.

Could Hull be one of them?

According to the ‘understanding’ from sky sports Hull have made an offer to the England international, with a two-year contract offered with the option of a third also include in this apparent offer made.

Aston Villa and West Ham United are among the other premier league sides said to be keen on the defender with German outfit Schalke also keen along with Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates.

Is Lescott (a) a signing that you think Hull need and (b) one you think they can manage to secure?

I would think his wages would be a major stumbling block really, wouldn’t they?
