Cameron Stewart left Hull in January to sign for Leeds United, in a deal that’s supposed to be made permanent this summer at the end of his loan spell.

Claims are being made today in the Daily Mail that Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is looking to find out if a ‘u-turn’ can be made to allow the championship side to ‘pull out of the deal’.

It’s claimed that Stewart, who had enjoyed a successful loan with Charlton Athletic prior to join Leeds, has failed to convince Cellino with club official ordered to find a way out of the deal if it’s possible before it becomes permanent on July 1st.

The latest in a string of bizarre moves at Elland Road or just made up tabloid talk?
