Talks over an extended contract for Curtis Davies have rumbled on for a while now, but these will now open at the end of the month.
Amidst rumoured interest from Newcastle United a need to talk a contract extension is something that the club want to do with the Hull Daily Mail saying that this talks will start in the coming weeks.
As he’s still got two-years left on his contract there isn’t an immediate hurry to extend his stay but it has been said that he is ‘lagging some way behind’ some of the other top earners at the KC.
Davies is happy to extend his contract though by all accounts but would be looking for a wage more reflective of his status as Hull captain….
