Matty Fryatt continues to be linked with a number of Championship sides but a move away from the KC Stadium still appears some way away.

Ipswich Town were the newest side to be linked with a loan move for the out of favour forward today but manager Mick McCarthy has been quick to deny the links in Ipswich`s local media. Having seen his strikers impress so far this season, McCarthy is unwilling to sign a player of Fryatt`s calibre if he isn`t going to be a regular starter.

Ipswich`s lack of interest sees Fryatt still have two potential transfer options with both Nottingham Forest and Barnsley known to be interested in the forward. Forest are known to be keen on a deal having tried to sign the striker on deadline day whilst Barnsley are yet to make their intentions on any loan deal clear.

With Gedo having obtained his work permit to allow his move to East Yorkshire to be completed, Matty Fryatt it set to be loaned out having yet to feature in a Premier League eighteen man squad.
