Price picked up a groin injury after the Boxing day match against promotion chasing Crystal Palace.
Lewis is a Welsh international, and has played through recent games with the slight injury, and now looks like he may be set to miss a game.
Lewis will travel to the KC, but will undergo a fitness test before the match to see whether or not he can complete the full 90 minutes.
Reserve goalkeeper Shane Supple has been put on standby to cover for the injury, and if he is called upon, will be making his fourth appearance of Ipswich’s campaign this season.
Ipswich are going to be without kevin Horlock and Adam Proudlock, who have both picked up knee injuries.
