The K.C Stadium is to be the venue for a representative game between the Football League and a Seria B team.

Hull City manager Peter Taylor will pick the best U21 players from the 3 Coca Cola leagues, and the Italians led by Catania Manager Giampiero Marini will send a team picked from the Seria B league.

The games is scheduled for Tuesday 21st February, with the return game in Italy next Year.

The fixture first took place in 1960 and ran annually until 1998, the italian F.A have now approached the Football league and the Game is set to be Ressurected once more.

With Peter Taylor picking the team we may well see a sprinkling of Tigers players on the pitch including John Welsh, Scott Wiseman, Darryl Duffy & Billy Painter as well as the likes of Cardiff City’s Cameron Jerome, Wolves Tom Huddlestone, Theo Walcott from Southampton and Young Rotherham starlett Will Hoskins.

This is another major coup for the K.C Stadium and will go another step to putting Hull firmly on the international stage.

Ticket details will be announced shortly.
