Unnamed, but reliable sources within the club have revealed that the rumours about Jon Parkin making a summer move to Stoke can be believed. The sources, highly placed within the club, confirmed to a VitalHull member that it was a ‘done’ deal. The fee was not disclosed, but is roughly estimated to be around £500,000, which was reported on Radio Humberside recently.
Also, the same source confirmed that a deal to bring Danny Mills on loan till the end of season was all but complete. In addition, what we all believed would be happening during the off-season, a major clearout of playing staff, was very much on the agenda.

It be a shame to sea Parkin go think he is a good player and he is are top scorer still.Maybe its for the best because he not fit and the money would help to bring in some better players.Yes we do need to get rid of some players.Whos guna go tho?
despite his difficult times of late..wish him well…surprised in a way though considering his performances and his fitness..still not our worry…£1/2 million…great stuff…spend it wisely this time around please….

Good bit of business that, as I don’t think mentally Parkin has got what it takes to make it in the Championship. You need dedication to keep your fitness levels up, not down and your body fat below 10%, not above 20!!
