Adam Pearson has been the chairman of Hull City for five season’s and even in his short spell at the club, along with Peter Taylor, he has achieved back to back promotions for the first time in the club’s 101 year history.

This week, we asked you when the next step would occur, and asked when would expect to see Hull City in the Premiership?

Unfortunately, we know it can’t be this season so we have at least one more year wait.

However, most of you predict that in four years time we will see those words Tigers fans have waited so long to hear…Hull City – PROMOTED TO THE PREMIERSHIP!

40% of you predict that is the year the Tigers will finally achieve their long term goal of top flight football and rid themselves the tag of being the biggest City in the UK without a team in the top flight.

This season, we say Reading end a 135 year wait for Premiership football. Hopefully the Tigers can do it in slightly less time and achieve it within the next five years under the management of Peter Taylor and Adam Pearson.

34% of you are more optimistic and predict it will take a mere three years for Premiership football.

If the Tigers can gradually build on their previous year’s finish, then three years might just be the time we see ourselves enter the Premiership.

However, we would of course want to make sure we don’t go up through the leagues too quickly. After all, we don’t want to do a Sunderland when we eventually get there!

5% reckon it will take a while to establish ourselves in the Championship and we won’t see the Tigers in the Premiership till gone 2012. It wouldn’t bother me – I can wait that long!

Unfortunately, 9% seem to think we will never make it there but we will eventually. As long as I got the opportunity to see the Tigers stride out on the first day of the new Premiership season, I wouldn’t mind how long it took us to get there, although I would prefer they hurry up and got there!

8% of City fans predict an entry into the Premiership in 2007/08 and 4% in 2010/11.

No matter what some say, we will make it. It could be next season or it could be in twenty years. Reading had a long wait and we may have to wait even longer but one day… we will make it!
