Hull, who missed the early chance to put some pressure on the rest, had to settle for a fair one-one draw with Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday.

With Hull involved in the early Sky Sports game City knew a win would put the pressure on the rest as the football resumed after the international break but with half time approaching the defence was breached for the first time in five-matches when Agard scored for Bristol City.

A five-match winning run, to match that cleansheet run, was being threatened but Maloney secured Hull a point as he came off the bench to keep his composure following a flick from Diame to also score his first goal for City.
