Adama Diomande has been handed a violent conduct charge following Hull’s League Cup win at Bristol City on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old has been cited for appearing to strike Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack in the dying moments of the two-one win at Ashton Gate, which secured a quarter-final place once again with Newcastle the last eight opposition.

An FA statement said.

‘It is alleged that Diomande’s behaviour in or around the 90th minute of the fixture constitutes violent conduct.’

Diomande’s actions weren’t seen by the officials but he’s been picked up after the event with the Norwegian international facing a suspension it would seem.

One of those who impressed during that win was 17-year-old Josh Tymon who is reportedly catching the eye of Premier League rivals Arsenal and Everton who could make a move for the left back in the New Year?
