Assem Allam has called a press conference for tomorrow when he will ‘address the media’ in response to much speculation surrounding his future at Hull.
Having seen his crass attempts to rename us ‘Hull City Tigers’ thrown out earlier in the year his future as owner of the club was seemingly put in doubt, but his commitment to us seemed to be as strong, probably stronger than ever, following his major investment during the summer as our squad was majorly strengthened.
A statement will be made at 2pm on Thursday when the ‘future of Hull City Tigers’, as he put it, will be on the agenda….
Is that his future, future plans of another attempt to rebrand us or simply the appointment of his son Ehab into his role as chairman, with him stepping aside for Ehab who has been chief exec since the end of last year.
There are even some rumours that Allam will be selling the club outright? That one I’m not so sure on, but we’ll know soon enough!
