Hull City right-back Scotty Wiseman has moved to Rotherham United on loan for six months in order to gain first team experience.
Wiseman is highly though of at the KC but his problem has always been a lack of experience. That problems seems to have been solved as Hull City have agreed to let the player move to Rotherham on a six month loan deal with an option for an extension.
Wiseman played twelve games for the first-team last year but struggled to hold down a regular first team place, especially after Alton Thelwell came back from injury. Wiseman also broke into the England U19 set-up to work with Peter Taylor who was manager of the Tigers at the current time.
This is an excellent opportunity for Scotty and one he must take if he is to progress at the KC. A good six month spell at Millmoor where he can gain valuable experience will put him in terrific stead, and if he impresses he may be able to force his way into the Tigers set-up. At the current time, Wiseman isn’t ready for Championship football – in six months he should at least be a whole lot closer!
