Deal Or No Deal?

QPR have again delayed the move of The Tiger?s prospective loan defender, Georges Santos.

The loan move was set to take place yesterday, but due to an injury to Ranger?s Matthew Rose, the deal has not yet been finalised ahead of Thursday?s transfer deadline.

The centre back has fallen out of favour at Loftus Road, and has not made a single start for Rangers since the end of January. The chance of Santos making the journey to The KC Stadium now rests on the fitness of Rose, if he proves to be fit, Santos would be available to make the loan move, and join The Tigers.

It is believed, however, that Taylor could look elsewhere should the deal not be agreed soon.

I just dont see the logic of getting a 35yr old on loan, if he is coming in as cover then why didnt Taylor look to a younger player who could maybe have a future at the Tigers. The only reason i can think of him starting would be so Delaney can move into midfield.

We currently have two central defenders out injured, who will be ready for the start of next season, so Taylor probably isn’t looking to the long term. To get an experienced head in now, even if he only warms the bench and helps out in training, makes sense to me.
