Michael Bridges the former Sunderland & Leeds striker was watched over the weekend by Hull City according to the Daily Telegraph’s web site.

Bridges played in Carlisles 5-0 demolition of Darlington on Saturday and helped his cause by scoring Carlisles third goal.

A number of Premiership scouts were also present including representives from Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Blackburn as well as Championship clubs Leeds, Norwich, Wolves & Ipswich.

Bridges joined Carlisle on loan in November last year before signing for them in February on a free transfer.So far this season he has scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for the League two club.

Prior to joining Carlisle he had enjoyed spells at Sunderland before signing for Leeds Utd in a 5 million pound deal in July 1999, where he scored 21 goals in his first season.

Unfortunately his career since has been dogged by injury and he has only made sporadic appearences since whilst being loaned out to Newcastle, Sunderland and Bristol City.
