The F.A have confirmed this morning that they will be investigating the mass brawl that took place last night between City & Charlton.

City Captain Ian Ashbee & Charltons Lloyd Sam were both dismissed for their part in the melee which also included Players & Staff from both clubs. Referee Alan Taylor has come under a lot of critisicm for his handling of last nights game and he will also be lokked at.

An F.A spokesmen said ‘We will obviously be considering the referee’s report and investigating the incident.

‘We will also be looking at video evidence before deciding what further action is necessary.’

City boss Phil Brown could also face a seperate charge after accusing the Charlton players of getting Ashbee sent off.

    Surely they won’t charge Brownie for telling the truth it’s the referee they should come down hard on for his inept performance and failure to stop Charlton injury feigning and time wasting. Parky looked pleased at the end but I couldn’t nail my colours to a pile of rubbish like that!

    Total agree with the above.Hopful nothing will come of it.Im sure we get one other Charlton at the Valley.What comes around goes around.Im sure the ref will be on our side one day lol.

    Charlton Addickt do you play like that at the Valley as well? Should be another captivating 100 minutes plus if the answer is yes!
