Hull City welcome Newcastle United to the KC Stadium this afternoon, returning to Premier League action after defeating Brighton on Monday night to set up an FA Cup quarter final next weekend.

Steve Bruce will welcome back Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic to the first-team after being cup-tied in midweek. Both impressed in City`s 4-0 win over Cardiff last week and Bruce will also be able to call upon all of Huddlestone, Bruce and Rosenior who all picked up minor knocks at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Newcastle recorded a much needed 1-0 win over Aston Villa in their last outing with the returning Loic Remy scoring in added time, the Frenchman having scored twice against City earlier in the season when Bruce`s side recorded a 3-2 win in Newcastle.

Hatem Ben Arfa and Davide Santon both remain sidelined having missed out against Aston Villa.

Hull have managed to avoid defeat to Newcastle in recent meeting, unbeaten in the last five matches in all competitions with Newcastle`s last victory coming back in 1997.
